Ducker is getting restless

Ducker patting his web feet on my desk...

Ducker is beginning to get restless. He’s been to the Smokey Mountains, to England, and to Ely, Minnesota where he went to the Winter Festival with the snow sculptures and even got a chance to go dog sledding. Now he’s stuck in my office waiting for a chance to go someplace exciting. In June he is going to climb Mt. Hood in Oregon, but June is still a long way off…

He starting to quack and make duck noises which can be distracting when I’m trying to write. But he’s pretty good most of the time. Sometimes I even forget he’s here, but don’t tell him I said that. I don’t want to hurt his feelings.

  • I’d love to host Ducker for the month of May in Indy! I may not get him to the actual 500, but we do LOTS of stuff in May to celebrate (Community Day, the Zoopolis 500, the parade, qualifications & practice days)!

    • Yay! Thanks, Megan! You could get a picture of him outside the Speedway and show him watching it on TV or listening to a radio… This sounds like so much fun. I hear Ducker’s quacking already – and now it’s a happy quack! Much more pleasant than the one he was doing this morning. He does a great Happy Duck Dance, you wait and see! :o)

    • re-reading… The qualifications will seem a lot like the real races and make for some great pictures. I’m really excited you are going to sponsor Ducker.
