Snow at the Schocke’s House

Home/Ducker's Adventures/Snow at the Schocke’s House

Ms. Terri and I went out to take some pictures around their home. Wow! There is sooooooo much snow here!

Wolf Lake Lane
This is the entrance to Wolf Lake Lane where the Schocke's live.

Deep snow
Whoa! That snow is too deep for me! It covers part of one sign and almost reaches the street name too.

Signs to home
Here we are at the Schocke's home. These signs tell me which way to go.

end of Wolf Lake Lane
We are at the end of Wolf Lake Lane. We are almost to Terri's house now.

Schocke Hikers
Look at that! Terri and Terry are hikers too. Do they hike in this deep snow?

Snow drift by garage
Look how the snow drifted beside the Schocke's garage.

More snow drifts
The Schocke's had to shovel a lot of snow so they could drive their cars in and out of the garage. There are still snow drifts on the sides.

Root Beer Lady sign
We took a detour to say Hello to Dorothy (the Root Beer Lady of Knife Lake) Molter's old sign.

Too cold for laundry
Look what we found under 3 feet of snow! An antique MAYTAG wringer washing machine. I don't think anyone would wash clothes in it on a day like today!

Let it snow
They take their SNOW SERIOUSLY up north in Minnesota!

Ducker loves to travel and visit new places. Sometimes he gets restless and quacks and quacks begging Mrs. Green to find someplace where he can go. He travels with the help of the Post Office most of the time since that is cheaper than airline tickets. Contact Janice D. Green if you would like to host Ducker for a visit to someplace special. He behaves himself most of the time.

    • Hi Lashayna,
Thanks for posting on Ducker’s Adventures. Ducker is having a great time in Ely, Minnesota.

When he get’s back home I’ll try to bring Ducker back to St. Mark Elementary for a visit before he goes mountain climbing in Washington State. Tell all my young friends “Hi” for me, OK?

I hope you looked at all the great pictures of Ducker with the snow sculptures.
