December 9th 2010 Leeds England
Hello everyone, I finally arrived at my latest destination to stay with a family who live in Leeds, in the north of England.
Over the past few days, if not weeks England has experienced a great deal of snow, ice and very cold weather. Althea told me that although it is usually cold at this time of the year they haven’t had snow in Leeds this early in the year. If I had had to fly here I would have flown from A to B shown on the map and I would have had to battle with strong head winds and probably arrive bedraggled and hopefully safely.
Just as well that I came down the internet cables to arrive safe and sound on the screen in the place I will call home for a few weeks.
I am staying with Althea (mother), Peter (father), Helen (daughter) and Fred (son) as well as their Egyptian Maw (cat) call Phaidoah, Xanthe (dog), house rabbitt (Zebedee) and Helen’s two Degus called Tea and Toast.
