Baby Jesus . . . Messiah! is a beautifully-illustrated retelling of the birth of Jesus. My favorite part of this retelling is the way each bite-sized chunk of the story includes thought-provoking discussion questions, encouraging children to dig deeper. The author raises some great points in the questions, including ones I have never heard raised before. It’s a great way to share the story of the birth of Jesus with young children and challenge the minds of even older children to reflect on this amazing moment in history.
