I’m quacking with great news! I’m in Ely, Minnesota visiting Terri Shocke, Mrs. Green’s cousin, and her husband who is also named Terry. Now that really quacked me up! Terri and Terry! The very first day that I got to Ely, we went to the North Amereican Bear Center. I met Dr. Lynn Rogers, the “Bear Man” of the North woods! He told me all kinds of stories about hibernating bears. Here is a picture of Dr. Rogers: Dr. Lynn Rogers
I’m so excited! I about made Mrs. Green quack up with all my quacking, wing flapping, and waddling back and forth. I can’t wait to get my duck feet in the Minnesota snow! Happy happy duck dance!!! Now if I can find some snow gear… or not as the other ducks won’t have any. Hmmmmmm…
Hi everyone, I was just looking through my photo album on my phone and found some pictures that I forgot to send on an outing I had with Helen. It was really exciting. She took me to a pantomime which is a great British tradition over the Christmas break and goes on into January when lots of school children go with their schools. Pantomime is acting without using words. Oh boy! We are going to watch a play at a Theatre!
I miss Mrs. Green. She says some people reading my Ducker’s Adventures blog got confused and thought SHE was in England. So I wanted to let them know that I’m in England, but she is still at home. Something about it costing less for me to travel than for her to go. I’ll be writing more soon. Bye… –Ducker
December 11th Leeds, England – Cross Gates It says ASDA but now it's another WalMart - in England! Did not do a great deal on Saturday, we went shopping at ASDA (an English company that was taken over by Wal-Mart). We forgot to take any pictures so we found one on the internet taken during the summer. Christmas trees in England look like the ones in USA. Christmas shoppers at the mall, much like in the USA Later in the day
