Janice D. Green, Christian author and owner of Honeycomb Adventures Press, LLC, is passionate about Bible literacy in young families. Janice is a wife, mother, and grandmother. Her eleven years as a stay-at-home mom plus over 20 years experience as an elementary library media specialist and teacher give her much insight on how to write for children.
Janice has also been involved in serious Bible study for over 40 years. Her passion is to write about the Bible in a way that encourages people to want to learn more about it, and to read it for themselves.

Honeycomb Adventures Press, LLC publishes Bible books for children. Our recent releases are Jonah: The Fearful Prophet and The Creation (second edition). The new releases are in three formats each, the traditional picture book, a coloring books with the same basic content, and e-books. Our first books were The Creation and The First Christmas.
Honeycomb Writers Press is an imprint of Honeycomb Adventures Press for publishing books about writing for children. Sowing Seeds: Writing for the Christian Children’s Market is by Kathleen M. Muldoon, a retired writing instructor for the Institute of Children’s Literature.
Honeycomb Adventures Press, LLC believes that children have a curiosity that is too often underserved by the “age appropriate” labels. For this reason, our books contain more information than typical Bible storybooks for toddlers and are more suited for children in the primary and elementary grades, yet they are written in a child-sensitive manner to not overwhelm children. Illustrations are carefully chosen to give a feeling of realism and not fantasy. We don’t want Bible stories to be confused with myths and fairy tales.
Honeycomb Adventures books are designed to be shared between a child and older person (parent, adult, or older sibling) with many engaging discussion questions along the way. Considering the void in Bible literacy in today’s culture, even adults may learn something new as they share these books with children. These new discoveries may come from the story or from the additional pages written for adults with background material relevant to the story. Family-friendly activities are also included at the end of each book.
