Going Shopping in Leeds England

Home/Ducker's Adventures/Going Shopping in Leeds England

December 11th Leeds, England – Cross Gates

It says ASDA but now it's another WalMart - in England!

Did not do a great deal on Saturday, we went shopping at ASDA (an English company that was taken over by Wal-Mart). We forgot to take any pictures so we found one on the internet taken during the summer.

Christmas trees in England look like the ones in USA.

Later in the day we went shopping at the local Arndale Centre in Cross Gates and this time we got some pictures. The Christmas tree was up and lots of children were gathered around it.

Their buses look different from ours but lots of people got on them. We did not get on the bus because Althea’s house was within walking distance of the centre.

It was wet, cold and a bit grey but it was good to see a different place.

Ducker loves to travel and visit new places. Sometimes he gets restless and quacks and quacks begging Mrs. Green to find someplace where he can go. He travels with the help of the Post Office most of the time since that is cheaper than airline tickets. Contact Janice D. Green if you would like to host Ducker for a visit to someplace special. He behaves himself most of the time.
