December 10th Leeds, England – the evening
I had a great time at the theatre. We went to see Aladdin at the West Yorkshire Playhouse with Bev, a friend of Althea’s. The evening was magical. The small theatre company put on a show that told the story in a modern way that all the children in the audience enjoyed. I enjoyed it too. The best person was the genie; he was really funny and did lots of magical things. And although you could not see inside the lantern he really made you believe that it was magic.
The genie is the one in black and white striped knee length shorts.
The princess is wearing yellow trousers.
Aladdin is the man in the centre with the red, blue and white scarf, his mother is the lady on the right with the blue and white striped trousers.
After the show we met up with Helen, Fred and Althea’s sister (June) because it was half way between Fred’s and June’s birthdays.
