Ducker's Adventures

Follow Ducker as he travels and explores places around the world.

Jonathan Huff, creator of Ducker

Inspired by “Flat Stanley” and other similar projects, Mrs. Janice D. Green launched “Ducker’s Adventures” as a blog to help students make connections to the world around them. Since that time, the Ducker’s Adventures blog has been incorporated into the Honeycomb Adventures blog.

Mrs. Green’s grandson, Jonathan Huff, created the Ducker image that is making these travels for children of all ages around the world who follow his travels. Jonathan was a 6th grade student at Red Oak Middle School in Red Oak, NC at the time he created Ducker.

At the time of this update Ducker has been to Millgrove Farms in Georgetown County, SC; Lake Junaluska, NC and the Blue Ridge Parkway in the Smoky Mountains; Leeds, England; and to the Winter Festival in Ely, Minnesota. He is currently in Speedway, Indiana and is also looking forward to climbing Mt. Hood in Portland, Oregon in June. Unfortunately neither Mrs. Green nor grandson Jonathan can afford to accompany Ducker on his wildest adventures.
